I wanted to take quick break from my geeky posts (or lately, the lack of geeky posts) and wish a heartfelt congratulations to our friends Matt and Megan who got engaged this week! Matt is a friend of Bonnie’s from high school who I met quite a few years ago shortly after Bonnie and I started dating. He and I quickly became good friends due to our common interests in computers, gaming, and all thing aviation. We both met Megan the weekend of our wedding and we’ve been quite a close knit group since then, even though we’re four hours apart geographically.
Congratulations to you both!
I really got in big trouble for not posting a “Happy Anniversary” note on here back on our third-anniversary, so I’m taking a few minutes right now before heading to the office to say…
Happy Birthday Bonnie!
I know that the last five years for you have been way better than the first 21, but I wish you many, many more. I love you!
I thought it only fair to post the final results of the 2007 Wantmoore.com NCAA Tournament Pick ‘Em here for everyone who didn’t participate to see.
Congratulations to Megan for taking home the Gold, my wonderful wife Bonnie for the second place finish, and to my friend Jeremy for his third place finish. Other finishes of note are Brandon’s 9th place finish – and my 8th place position. That’s right – I beat Brandon by one point – whoo! The final person I’d like to make a specific reference to is my friend of the Great White North – Eric who, sadly, finished dead last. Better luck next year Eric!
Hat tip to Eric for the original image and idea.
A good friend of mine has a birthday today, and one of her gifts looked like this:
For a 60GB iPod – I’d almost say yes to the guy. Just kidding! Happy Birthday and Congratulations Mel!
I normally don’t do memes, and I really have no reason to be doing this one. No one has actually tagged me, but I felt like participating anyway after seeing it come in on several of my feeds.
Four jobs that I’ve had
Four movies I can watch over and over
Four places I have lived
So I had to had Brevard there on the end to get four. I spent every summer there for about seven or eight years when I was a kid. Good times.
Four TV shows I like to watch
I’d be embarassed to list all the shows that my Tivo records every week and how many of those I actually watch. Those would probably be the four I would miss the most though if my TV were to disappear.
Four foods that I like
OK, so coffee isn’t technically a food, but I’d have a hard time making it more than a couple days without it.
Four websites I visit daily
Four things I want to do before I die
Four people I’m tagging
