This just ROCKS people. I was sorting through pictures to post in the gallery and tried to copy a couple of pics I had already placed in the upload folder into it again and got this dialog box:
File Exists Dialog Box
That’s just a nice touch.

You’ve no doubt heard that Microsoft’s next release of Windows will be “Vista” and is slated for release sometime in the latter part of this year. What you may not have known, is that Vista is actually an acronym:

  • Virii
  • Intruders
  • Spware
  • Trojans
  • Adware

This was taken from a wallpaper from KDE’s website. Credit I guess goes to “inane” – the creator of said wallpaper.

Just found out tonight that Jeremy is starting to plan another mission trip to Moscow, Russia. Hopefully, Bonnie and myself will both be going back again. He’s planning it for early October so I’m guessing the major details and fund raising will have to begin soon. It’s never too early to start praying for us.

My favorite site around this time of year, TarheelBlue.com us running a story about the nine former Tar Heels football players still in the playoffs. For a school who’s football program doesn’t really get a lot of respect, this is definitely something we should be shouting from the rooftops.

Ethan Albright, Washington
Ebenezer Ekuban, Denver
Willie Parker, Pittsburgh
Julius Peppers, Carolina
Jeff Reed, Pittsburgh
Dexter Reid, Indianapolis
Jeff Saturday, Indianapolis
David Thornton, Indianapolis
Greg Warren, Pittsburgh

Unless you’re a Broncos, Colts, or Steelers fan, the only name I’d expect you to recognize is none other than Julius Peppers – no doubt one of the top couple of defensive players in the league. It’ll be interesting to watch all the UNC alumni play this weekend.

From #wordpress obviously…

D2DChat> Hey does anyone know if the latest version of wordpress is stable?
wantmoore> D2DChat: that would depend on what you mean by “latest version” and your definition of the word “stable”
davidhouse> our latest stable version is stable.
davidhouse> our latest SVN is not.
wantmoore> and the latest unstable version is unstable

These are the things I do for laughs. I must get a life…

my #wordpress trading card

my #wordpress trading card
originally uploaded by wantmoore.

Several of the goofs regulars in #wordpress were using fd’s Flickr Toys to create #wordpress trading cards and it seemed like a fun idea. Notice that are no less than four coffee mugs scattered around my desk. Too bad I can’t find a way to drink from them all at once…

Moore Dropdown Archives is the sister plugin to Moore Dropdown Categories. The plugin creates a simple and valid XHTML dropdown menu that automatically submits when the month is selected from the dropdown. I can’t take full credit for the code that my plugin contains. Actually, I can’t take any credit. The code was originally written by Chris at qwghlm.co.uk and I simply wrapped it up as a plugin so that no hacking of the WordPress core is necessary.

v1.0 (Released 2006 Jan 11)

To download the plugin, choose your file format below:
